Enjoy a lovely vacation in Hawaii . The weather is great all year round. Some of the Islands to visit are the Big Island,  Kona, Maui etc. They are just a short plane ride from each other.

You could visit Pearl Harbor and just relax on the beautiful beaches.

Scott and I won the trip to Jamaica at last year’s bridal show 2010. We got married October 1, 2011 and left for Montego Bay on Oct 3. We had a wonderful honeymoon. We enjoyed Sandals Carlyle a lot! It was quiet, small, had great service and food! We loved the opportunity to go to the other Sandals, and then come back to our quiet little place!

If airfares confuse you as much as they confuse me, then I have some
good news: Several new rules are going to make it easier to calculate the total
cost of a ticket.

Maybe.

Starting Jan. 26, a new U.S.
Transportation Department rule will require airlines to include all taxes and
fees in their advertised fares. Other provisions of the rule — banning
post-purchase price increases and allowing passengers to hold certain
reservations without payment or to cancel them without penalty for 24 hours
after booking — will take effect Jan. 24.

The DOT is also requiring
airlines to disclose baggage fees when passengers buy a ticket, mandating that
the same baggage allowances and fees apply throughout a journey, and stipulating
that those fees be shown on electronic ticket confirmations.

The airline
industry, which fought many of these requirements during the rulemaking process,
isn’t complying quietly.

Italy is a lovely country to visit during the holidays or during the summer. While in Rome, visit the Vatican (St.Peter’s Square). You will be amazed at the size of it and the beautiful architecture. You could spend a day touring this site alone.

For all other sites, take a city tour bus that will cost about $30.00 US.
You’ll see place like the Colosseum, which was inaugurated in 80 AD with spectacles and games for wild animals. Gladiators were also killed in combat there.

During your stay, don’t forget about the shopping and true Italian food to dine on. But if you can’t get enough while in Rome, you can travel by train to Venice and Florence which is only a couple of hours away.

Just in case you are searching for some great African food in Accra, Ghana, Maquis Tante Marie Restaurant is a place you’ll want to dine at during your stay. They have two locations in Accra. You can even order take out for a small delivery charge.

If at any time you are taking a trip to Accra, Ghana, you’ll want to check out Labadi Beach Hotel. It is a great resort with a wonderful staff. You can be sure that you’ll be able to relax and enjoy yourself.

Cancun Weather
Cancun weather boasts year round sunshine making it ideal for a vacation at any time of year. Cancun weather is tropical and humid with year round sunshine. The temperature ranges from 20° to 30° C (68° to 86° F) from October through to March and from 22° to 33° C (75° a 91° F) from April to September.

Cancun Airport
Cancun Airport handles the second largest volume of traffic in Mexico therefore the security levels are very high. Since they have built the new terminal, Cancun airport can boast great modern facilities and equipment. There are some fabulous duty free shops and gift shops selling silver jewellery and souvenirs so you can always buy that last minute present for your loved ones.

Getting Around Cancun
It is very easy and cheap to get around Cancun by bus. You can catch a bus to most places within Cancun and there is a bus every hour from Cancun Airport to Downtown Cancun. From the Cancun bus terminal in downtown Cancun you will find regular services to all parts of Mexico.
You can always find a taxi in Cancun, but make sure you check the fare before you get in. A list of regular fares can be found in the lobby of most hotels or you can ask the concierge.

Cancun Time Zone
Cancun time zone is six hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Daylight Saving Time begins on the first Sunday in April and ends on the last Sunday in October.

Cancun Currency
The official currency in Cancun is the Mexican peso but American dollars are also widely accepted. Banks are open Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm but there are exchange houses found all over Cancun that are open much later.

Language spoken in Cancun
The official language spoken in Cancun is Spanish. Most of the Mexicans working in the tourism industry speak English and you will find that French, Italian and German are also spoken by some. Many of the local indigenous people still speak Mayan as their first language and Spanish as their second, you will often hear them speaking Mayan amongst themselves.

Tips
The average tip for service is 10-15% and one or two dollars per suitcase carried. Always check your bill first as tips may already be included.

Cancun Electricity
The standard Cancun electricity supply is 110 volts. Hotels usually offer voltage converters for 220 volt devices. Many sockets do not accept polarized or three-prong plugs so it is recommended that you bring your own adapter but you can usually buy these in the hotel shop.

Cancun Telecommunications
Cancun telecommunications are modern and up to date. All the main tourist areas have facilities such as fax and internet services and you will find wireless internet access in most hotels and also in many restaurants and cafes.
To make international calls from Mexico you dial access code 001 for the US and Canada; and 00 + country code for the rest of the world. The cheapest way to make telephone calls is with prepaid cards. Making calls from your hotel room can be very costly.
Contact your service provider before your vacation for more information if you wish to use your cell phone in Mexico. Otherwise you can rent cell phones per day for local use.
